NEW DELHI: The Government of NCT of Delhi will provide free of cost COVID-19 vaccines in government hospitals for the common public. The Delhi government will present this provision in the upcoming budget and will allocate a separate sum for the purpose.
Presently, private hospitals in Delhi are charging Rs 250 for the vaccine and government hospitals are providing the vaccine free of cost. The Government of India is bearing the cost of free COVID-19 vaccines in the government hospitals of Delhi. The capital has reported 286 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours and the total count has reached to 6,41,101 on Sunday, March 7.
Total number of recoveries in the national capital has reached 6,28,377 including 260 new recoveries in the last 24 hours. Fatality count has also reached to 10,921.
