NEW DELHI: The Government of NCT of Delhi today, flagged off 100 AC CNG buses from Rajghat depot to strengthen public transportation services in Delhi. The buses are equipped with state-of-the-art features such as CCTV, Panic Button, GPS, and other amenities.
“The first electric bus prototype has arrived in Delhi and will be unveiled by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday, January 17. By the second week of February, fifty e-buses will be added to DTC’s fleet, and the goal of 300 e-buses will most likely be met by April 2022. Kailash Gahlot, Minister of Transport, Government of NCT of Delhi, made remarks while launching 100 new AC CNG buses at Rajghat, in the presence of CM Kejriwal. After the inauguration ceremony, CM Kejriwal stated that the buses would run on the rural route.
According to the company, these new low-floor CNG AC buses fully comply with BS-VI emission requirements and have cutting-edge features like a real-time passenger information system, CCTVs, panic buttons, and GPS, among others.
