Delhi education board to use AI for student evaluation

NEW DELHI: The Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) is planning to introduce the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and game-based technologies for continuous assessment of students. Officials said after the first general body meeting of the new education board of Delhi held on Tuesday, March 30, that these initiatives are being takes as part of the new state school education board.

The state education board is likely to become functional for upto at least middle –level classes (up to Class 8) from the upcoming academic session. Manish Sisodia, Minister of Education, GNCTD, said that the assessment of students will be done holistically on the basis of their knowledge, attitude and skills.
