NEW DELHI: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) on Wednesday, December 23, authorised the proposal to introduce a new housing scheme next year in January. As per the scheme 1,210 flats will be put on sale for mostly the high and middle income category.
The scheme was approved along with other important proposals like development control norms for the illegal colonies and modification in the transit oriented development policy. In addition to this scheme, several key proposals such as housing scheme for the year 20121, modifications in the Transit Oriented Development Policy was also approved in this meeting. The meeting in which the proposals were approved was chaired by Anil Baijal, Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor, on Wednesday, December 23.
