Cyclone ‘Titli’ to move towards north-west for next 12 hours

ODISHA: ‘Cyclone Titli’ is likely to move towards north-west for next 12 hours and is expected re-curve and head north-east towards Gangetic West Bengal across Odisha. As expected high Sea tides was seen in the coastal areas in Gopalpur after ‘Titli’ made a landfall.

Cyclone ‘Titli’ is likely to weaken gradually and become severe cyclonic storm around today evening. A deep depression is expected by mid-night, as per IMD bulletin.

The Odisha government has claimed to have achieved the “Mission Zero Casualty”, a target set by Naveen Patnaik, Chief Minister of Odisha.

CM reviewed the preparedness for Cyclone and asked the district administration, police, fire service, and coastguards to closely monitor the situation in the state.
