In the sector of ITI, Vishwakarma technological up-gradation programme was rolled out, under which an ITI is to be established in each block. In order to complete this work in a phased manner, new ITIs have been established in 10 out of the total 172 ITI-less development blocks of the state through private sector. To monitor the day-to-day activities of the ITIs and to supervise the purchase, distribution and use of the materials available to them, a Smart Dashboard and inventory management system is to be established. Additionally, a training counseling & placement cell is to be established and training counseling & placement officer will be deployed to organise successful/certified trainees of the state ITIs to organise campus placements. These institutes will hold placement day every month.
