NEW DELHI: The Delhi government will discover sources of pollution in the city by conducting a round-the-year air quality study, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said.
On the third anniversary of Delhi government, Kejriwal told that AAP made a plan to procure machines which can detect sources of pollution at any given time and would act accordingly.
The Delhi chief secretary will submit a report on the proposed study and the plan to buy machines in a week.
Kejriwal said, “In view of various sources of pollution around the year, we will conduct a round-the-year study. Besides, we will carry out a tree plantation drive on a large scale to bring down pollution levels.”
Agencies which dig up roads for their work will also repair them to bring down dust pollution in Delhi he added.
