VIJAYAWADA, Andhra Pradesh: Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has flagged off 516 e-autos worth ₹22.18 crore under the Clean Andhra Pradesh (CLAP) programme from his camp office Tadepalli. The e-autos will be used in 36 municipalities in Andhra Pradesh for garbage collection.
A Suresh, Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, said, “The e-autos are being allotted to the small urban local bodies. We will take steps to supply e-autos as per the requirements of the ULBs in two to three phases.” Dharmana Prasada Rao, Minister for Revenue; G Jayaram, Minister for Labour and Employment; and Y Srilakshmi, Special Secretary (MAUD), along with other officials were present during the event.
