‘Central Government mulling ‘One Nation, One Pay Day’ scheme’: Gangwar

MUMBAI: Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Labor Minister, has announced that the Central Government is planning to launch ‘One Nation, One Pay Day’ scheme to ensure the financial stability of workers of the formal sector. The Union Minster announced this in his address at ‘Security Leadership Summit 2019’ organised by the Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI) and also mentioned that the Prime Minister was keen on getting the legislation passed soon.

Along with this proposal, other labor laws are also up for reformation in order to make them more formidable. “We have taken up 44 complex labour laws to reform them. We are involving all the stakeholders to make these laws more effective and useful,” the minister said.
