NEW DELHI: A fully automated puzzle car parking is being built in the busy Adhchini area of South Delhi in order to overcome the parking issues. Puzzle Parking has combination palettes that enable horizontal and vertical movement of parking spots like a puzzle to park and retrieve cars.
As per SDMC, the foundation stone of the project was laid on March 4, 2019 by Shyam Jaju, national vice-president of BJP. It claimed that it will be the first such facility in the city.
At a cost of Rs 7.55 cr, the puzzle parking is being constructed over an area of 310 sqm. It will accommodate 56 cars. It is being developed in two modules of six levels. It will be environment friendly and will be completely safe. The facility will provide faster parking and retrieval with lifts within three minutes and will have fire safety systems, SDMC said.
