NEW DELHI: The Government of Uttar Pradesh is ready to establish the Atal Residential Schools in the state where the underprivileged children will be provided quality free education. A total of 18 schools will be opened in 18 divisions and the beneficiaries will be the children of labourers and peasants.
Swami Prasad Maurya, Minister of Labour and Employment, Government of Uttar Pradesh, said that the state government under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is determined for the all-round development of the people. He added that Atal Residential Schools will be constructed in all the divisions to impart quality education free-of-cost to the children of labourers, artisans and poor families. Rs 270 crores are been allocated to the policy in the current financial year.
Maurya said that ensuring the welfare of labourers is the first priority of the state government. Free of cost education will be provided for children from classes 6 to 12.
