DISPUR, Assam: Tourism Department of the Government of Assam has been conferred the prestigious ‘TTF Excellence Award 2022’, for group participation at the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF). The event started on Friday, July 1, and concluded on Sunday, July 3, at the Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan, Kolkata.
TTF is an annual exhibition organised for the travel & tourism sector of the country. It provides an opportunity to various departments and organisations of India and the world to promote and display their products and services to the consumer markets across India.
During the event, Department of Tourism, Government of Assam, has conducted four tours between July 1 to July 3, which includes Guwahati-Suryapahar-Rangsapara-Kakoijana-Manas-Guwahati; Guwahati-Pobitora-Guwahati; Guwahati-Panimur-Kaziranga-Guwahati and Guwahati City tour.
Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma congratulated all the stakeholders through his twitter account. He wrote, “Delighted to share that Assam Tourism has been awarded with the prestigious TTF Excellence Award for Group Participation at the TTF Kolkata held at Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan. Congratulations and best wishes to all the stakeholders!”
