ITANAGAR: Mamata Riba, Deputy Commissioner of Lepa Rada district in Arunachal Pradesh has inaugurated E- Swasthya Seva Arunachal- Integrated Hospital Management Information System and Telemedicine in Lepa Rada district. It is one of the first such centers in the state.
The National Digital Health Mission aims to ensure seamless healthcare services through the usage of information technology. Through this project, the health department will digitally record all the medical reports and prescriptions of all the district hospitals, Centre for Health Care Strategies (CHCs), and Primary Health Centres (PHCs). It will also set up a telemedicine network in the state with Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences and Bakin Pertin General Hospital.
The program was launched with the support of the Arunachal Pradesh State Health Society.
