Artificial rain in capital unlikely due to unfavourable weather conditions

NEW DELHI: IIT Kanpur professor working on project said on November 27, 2018, that the chances of using artificial rain to reduce pollution may not be possible in the near future due to unfavourable meteorological conditions and pending clearance to fly an aircraft for cloud seeding.

 

A senior official from India Meteorological Department (IMD) said thatDelhi’s air quality showed a deteriorating trend from November 26, and is presently in the “very poor” category.
