AALO, Arunachal Pradesh: Under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), West Siang district, Arunachal Pradesh, has achieved the significant milestone of providing 100 per cent tap drinking water connection to every household.
An official announced that all 117 villages in the district now boast tap drinking water connections.
At a function organised by the Public Health Engineering and Water Supply Department, Mamu Hage, the Deputy Commissioner of West Siang, Arunachal Pradesh, extended congratulations to the department and urged the Village Management Water Committees (VWMCs) to oversee the JJM infrastructure and monitor water quality.
