INDORE: Asea Brown Boveri (ABB) has teamed up with Indore Smart City Development Limited (ISCDL) to deploy next-generation digital technologies, which will ensure that city’s residents and businesses have access to power at all times. ABB is a global leader in power and automation technologies, assisting utility and industrial customers in improving performance while lowering environmental impact.
ABB’s technology has built over 2300 24/7 electrical supply connections in the first phase of the collaboration. Moreover, an efficient automatic response system has been put to use for power outages and disruptions. ABB and ISCDL intend to replicate the model in other parts of the city. This will establish Indore as a model for smart city projects throughout India.
