PUNE, Maharashtra: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is planning to construct 15 VIP public toilets in Pune at the estimated cost of Rs 36 Lakhs. Out of the total cost of Rs 36 lakhs, the Government of Maharashtra will provide Rs 25 lakhs, and PMC will bear the remaining cost of Rs 11 lakhs. As per the official statement, these toilets will have vending machines, paper napkins, sanitary napkins and disposal machines. These toilets will also have shower facilities. The PMC initiated the tender process for these toilets.
