The fund allocation will be done based on the old ward system, according to which, the city had 162 wards, and each ward will receive Rs 1 crore. Out of the total allotted funds to each ward, Rs 75 lakh is to be used for ward-level works and Rs 25 lakh will be used for works suggested by citizens. The respective ward offices will be responsible to make sure that the dedicated funds be spend on development works in the merged villages.
