NEW DELHI: In order to ensure a wider coverage of the vaccination drive in India, the government has announced that anyone above the age of 45 will be eligible for vaccine shots from tomorrow i.e, April 1, 2021, irrespective of co-morbidities. The cutoff for the 45 plus years’ category is people born before January 1, 1977. The clause for co-morbidities has been scrapped to make the system simpler.
