JAIPUR: In a bid to control the coronavirus pandemic, Ashok Gehlot, Chief Minister, Rajasthan, has put the state under complete lockdown. However, considering the difficulty of the local public in procuring daily supplies, the CM has also announced that the poor and needy can contact the Rajasthan Police Department if they are in need of food or any other emergency services. The Police has been instructed by the state government to arrange and deliver food to those in need in order to avoid the possibility of them coming out of their homes.
Apart from this, Gehlot also announced ex-gratia of Rs 1,000 crore for the poor and the daily wage workers residing of the state.
