NEW DELHI: India to celebrate the 7th edition of India Water Week at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida, starting from November 1 to November 5, 2022. This year’s theme is ‘Water Security for Sustainable Development and Equity’. The event will be inaugurated by President of India Droupadi Murmu. The event has been organised by the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development, and Ganga Rejuvenation and will focus on raising awareness, conservation, and usage of water resources in an integrated manner.
The event will address issues related to the sustainable development and management of water resources, in line with the sustainable development goals. It will also be a platform for hosting conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and panel discussions for decision-makers, politicians, researchers, and entrepreneurs to share and elicit ideas and opinions.
Countries like Denmark, Singapore, and Finland will be partner countries for the India Water Week 2022. Eminent personalities from these countries will be sharing their experiences in the field of water management.
An exhibition will also take place showcasing the latest technologies, developments, and solutions available for water management in sustainable ways. The exhibitors will have an opportunity to connect with highly qualified visitors, potential clients, and promotional opportunities for their brand visibility.
Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Minister of Jal Shakti, Government of India, and other eminent personalities will be present.
