Mishra also reviewed the progress of Light House Projects (LHPs) and Demonstration House Projects (DHPs). The houses under LHPs are being constructed in Lucknow, Ranchi, Rajkot, Agartala, Chennai and Indore.

Mishra also said that the mission is promoting women empowerment by allocating the houses in the name of women beneficiaries or joint ownership. He asked the states and UTs that all the guidelines related to the mission should be followed at all levels and they should ensure that the name of women beneficiaries should be mentioned on the name plate of PMAY-U houses.
