20 localities sealed in Delhi

NEW DELHI: Delhi government, on April 8, has announced that they have identified 20 hotspots and have decided to seal these localities.  The decision was taken after the cases in the capital have risen significantly in last couple of days and the virus accounted for 7 deaths. Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister, Delhi also said that stepping outside without wearing masks will be penalised. Localities which have been sealed in Delhi are: Pratap Khand, Jhilmil Colony; G,H,J Blocks in Seelampur; Gali Number 5, West Vinod Nagar; Several streets in Krishna Kunj extension; Mayurdhwaj Apartments, IP Extension, Patparganj; Jahangirpur B-Block; Nizamuddin West; Markaz Masjid, Nizamuddin Basti; Dinpur Village; Shahjahanabad Society, Dwarka; Gali No.6, Sangam Vihar.

Sisodia confirmed that delivery of essential items would be ensured in these areas.
