LUCKNOW, Uttar Pradesh: In a meeting held on Thursday, May 5, a proposal to set up 10 foot-over bridges, and a sewage treatment plant with a capacity to treat 42 million litres of sewage waste everyday, was discussed.
These proposed foot-over bridges are to be installed at Ram Manohar Lohiya Hospital, Gomti Nagar, Indira Gandhi Prtishthan Hahnemann crossing and Mithai wala crossing. However, the final decision over the places to install these foot over bridges is yet to be taken. On the other hand, the Sewage treatment plant, with a capacity of treating 42 million Liters of sewage everyday, is to be built in Lucknow’s Trans-Gomti, under the Government of India’s ambitious Smart City Mission plan.
