Western express way set to open in August

Gurgaon: The western peripheral expressway is likely to open in August for the commuters, which will connect Kundli with Palwal via Manesar was announced on Thursday by Deputy Commissioner Vinay Pratap Singh. There are also plans for developing five new cities along the expressway.

In 2003, the Supreme Court initiated the project to construct Peripheral Expressways around Delhi, with the objective of decongesting the capital by diverting the traffic.

Singh, also said that 200 low floor buses will be deployed on 11 routes in Gurgaon from August on the streets.
