RANCHI: Hemant Soren, Chief Minister of Jharkhand on July 23 laid the foundation stone for projects worth Rs 84 crore for beautification of the capital city of Ranchi. Speaking at the ceremony, Soren emphasized the importance of engagement of people in ensuring all round development of their city. These projects cover Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) and Ranchi Regional Development Authority (RRDA) limits, and include work on lanes, drains, beautification of some roundabouts and installation of street lights, among others. Renovation of some of the historical and landmark sites of Ranchi like Ranchi Lake, Jaipal Singh Stadium, Rock Garden, and Morabadi Ground has also been included.
