Thane MC to conduct door-to-door survey to detect corona patients

MUMBAI: The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) will be conducting a door-to-door survey in all the residential societies under its jurisdiction to check any symptoms of the coronavirus in the locals. Those who show such signs of illness or are under home quarantine will be geo-tagged for ease of identification. To make this campaign possible, the TMC has formed 33 teams of doctor for its 33 wards. Each team consists of a civic and a private doctor. Sandeep Malvi, Deputy Municipal Commissioner, Thane, ensured that there around 66 doctors along with medical volunteers and property tax department staff who will be jointly conducting door-to-door surveys in the residential societies.
