HYDERABAD, Telangana: The Department of Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MAUD) directed the urban local bodies (ULBs), including the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), to clean public toilets. Apart from that, MAUD also urged ULBs to grade public toilets by roping women Self Help Groups (SHGs).
The campaign initiated was part of the Swachh Bharat Mission and is being implemented under the Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana, began on Friday and will conclude on December 25.
