Smart City Projects worth Rs 31.5 crore launched in Karnal

KARNAL: Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar laid the foundation stones for five Smart City Projects in Karnal worth Rs 31.5 crore. A synthetic hockey ground would be built at the cost of Rs 14.05 crore. Foundation Stones of 21 parks were also laid, which will be developed at Rs 5.82 crore in Sector 32 and 33.

Among other projects are a community center and yoga shed at Sardar Milkha Singh Hockey Stadium, construction of 63 roads and lanes of Phoosgarh and reparation of others. The construction of an indoor stadium was also announced on the grounds of proposed synthetic hockey stadium in Kailash, at the behest of Deputy Mayor of the city.

The CM also heard people’s complaints and issues, and promised fast-tracking of these developmental projects.
