MYSURU: The state urban development department will soon be launching a ‘single window system’ for builders to submit building development plans and also to obtain no objection certificates (NOC) from different government agencies.
UT Khader, Minister for Urban Development and Housing while speaking at secondNew India Summit of Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India (CREDAI) on December 5, said that the system is aimed to provide thebuilders a single platform to receive clearance from all departments rather torun from pillar to post for clearances by various departments.
Once the system will start functioning the builder have to apply online andsoftware will accept the application automatically. It will then detect if theapplication is submitted according to the rules. After the plan is accepted thecomputer will automatically generate application for the NOCs for variousconcerned government agencies.
Khader explained that, once the NOCs are issued the Urban Development will be coordinating the spot inspection of all government agencies on the same day andthe license will be given in a month’s time after inspection.
