NEW DELHI: In a wake of increasing number of complaints about the increased mosquito breeding and diseases spread by them, the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) has introduced a common toll free number to file complaint about the mosquito breeding spots in your area.
The single toll free number is connected to landline numbers of all zonal control rooms and anti-malaria officers of all four zones.
Gyanesh Bharti, Commissioner, SDMC said that due to rise in environmental conditions such as rain, humidity etc. cases of mosquito breeding reports have been increased “to combat that, additional precautionary measures are imperative. The toll-free number 1800-11-2260 will be operational 24×7.”
Bharti said that on detection of repeated breeding, besides legal notices and fines, a police complaint may also be lodged under Section 269 of the Indian Penal Code.

Sir, I am resident of Govind puri ,gali no 7 . There is lot of mosquitoes breeds after rain .Please do fogging and worrying as soon as possible in this area to avoid vector borne deasese

Kindly look into this matter of water accumulation and mosquitoes breeding in the area of D 45 , freedom fighter enclave, Neb Sarai. As it is very difficult to live in the vicinity area and very dangerous for the mass living in the near by area.
