New Delhi: The much awaited pink line of Delhi metro connecting Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus to Lajpat Nagar will be opened for public from Monday, 6 August.
Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of State (I/C), Housing and Urban Affairs and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will flag off the new section on 6th August.
“The section will be flagged off via remote from Metro Bhawan at 11.30 am and the passenger services on this section will commence from 1 pm on the same day”, said DMRC officials.
The section will connect four major markets of Delhi – INA, South Extension, Lajpat Nagar and Sarojini Nagar.
