DEOGARH: State-owned National Buildings Construction Corporation Limited (NBCC) said on October 25, 2018, that it has undertaken a contract to construct AIIMS hospital, costing Rs 902-crore, at Deogarh in Jharkhand. The project has been awarded to NBCC by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY).
NBCC will deal with the planning, designing and construction of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Deoghar, Jharkhand.
It has taken up several significant projects in the health sector earlier such as Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) hospitals, medical colleges and hospitals of various state governments across the country.
