RAIPUR: Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel attended the four-day state level Guru Ghasidas Lok Mahotsav Jayanti celebrations. While speaking at the event, CM Baghel announced that Nawagarh Nagar Panchayat into a municipal council and also promised to set up a 50-bed hospital in the town.
The event, organised in Nawagarh, included an open Panthi dance competition. CM Baghel approved the fund of one crore to develop police checkpoints in Sambalpur. CM Baghel highlighted the messages and principles of Baba Guru Ghasidas and also mentioned Baba’s motto, ‘Mankhe Mankhe ek samaan’, which means that there is no discrimination among humans.
CM Baghel stated that various schemes run by the state government continued in the COVID-19 pandemic as well. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Minister of Home, Government of Chhattisgarh; Ravindra Choubey, Minister of Agriculture, Government of Chhattisgarh; local MLAs; and Parliamentary Secretary Gurudayal Singh Banjare, were also present.
