JHABUA, Madhya Pradesh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, inaugurated and laid the foundation stones worth ₹7,550 crore for development projects in the state.
As part of the event, he distributed monthly installments to nearly two lakh women beneficiaries under the ‘Aahar Anudan Yojana,’ providing ₹1,500 per month for nutritious food, especially for women from backward tribes.
PM Modi also distributed 1.75 lakh ‘adhikar abhilekh’ (land rights records) under the Survey of Villages and Mapping with Improvised Technology in Village Areas (SVAMITVA) scheme, offering documentary evidence to individuals for their land rights.
He also laid the foundation stone for Tantya Mama Bhil University, a project costing ₹170 crore, aimed at providing world-class infrastructure for the holistic development of students. The university will cater to the youth from tribal-dominated districts of the state.
