IMPHAL, Manipur: Chief Minister of Manipur N Biren Singh, on Wednesday, June 29, unveiled the ‘Manipur Vision 2047’- a roadmap for the sustainable development of Manipur for the next 25 years.
The Vision document will guide the ministries, government departments and other stakeholders in forming policies, action plans and other developmental initiatives. While, the projects such as Ring Road, Liklang Pareng and Border Road will enhance the intrastate connectivity.
CM N Biren Singh took to twitter, “Delighted to launch the ‘Manipur Vision 2047’ which will serve as a roadmap for rapid and sustainable growth in the next 25 years. Manipur is endowed with abundant resources, and has significant potential to achieve #Aatmanirbharta by the 100th Independence Day.”
He also mentioned that the state government would ensure the preservation of the unique cultural identity and environmental resources of Manipur, during the development of infrastructure, agriculture, tourism, employment, entrepreneurship, and information technology sector.
Additionally, CM Singh also launched the CM dashboard, an Online Vigilance Certificate Portal and the Website of the Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Department. CM posted on his twitter account, “Launched the ‘Online Vigilance certificate Portal’ which will play a key role in streamlining the process of issuing vigilance certificates. This certificate is required in many instances such as retirement, promotion, awards etc.”
