CHENNAI, Tamil Nadu: Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M K Stalin, on June 10, virtually inaugurated a total of 2,707 housing units constructed by Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board (TNUHDB) in nine locations in Tamil Nadu.
Nearly a total of 4,880 beneficiaries received the order of allotment of houses under several projects. Till now, 23,286 families have received Rs 2.1 lakh to build their houses under the beneficiaries-led-construction (BLC) mode of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban).
The Chief Minister, Muthuvel Karunanidhi Stalin, virtually inaugurated the housing units in nine locations of Tiruchi, Ariyalur, Theni, Tirunelveli, Namakkal, and Nilgiri Hills and the three locations lie in Chennai.
T M Anbarasan, Minister for TNUHDB; Hitesh Kumar Makwana, Principal Secretary, Department of Housing and Urban Development; and M Govinda Rao, Managing Director, TNUHDB, were also present during the inauguration ceremony.
