Karnataka: MCC gets a special mention by the MoHUA

MYSORE: The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India has recognised Mangaluru City Corporation for the city’s enthusiastic participation in the Indian Swachhata League (ISL). Four cities from Karnataka namely Karwar, Mangaluru, Holalkere, and Mysuru have been shortlisted for the special felicitation. The event will take place at the Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi from September 29 to October 1, 2022 as a part of the valedictory session of the Swachh Sheher Samvaad and Technology Exhibition.

Mangaluru city has been shortlisted under the 3 lakh to 10 lakh population category of cities, while Karwar under the 50,000 to 1 lakh population category. Holalkere and Mysuru were shortlisted under the special mention category with 3 lakh to 10 lakh population.
