BENGALURU, Karnataka: Government of Karnataka’s Brand Bengaluru Campaign aimed at collecting citizen responses to improve urban governance saw a tremendous response from the citizens.
As part of the campaign, citizens came up with suggestions on various sectors, including flood management, waste management, green spaces, health, mobility, infrastructure and water conservation. Citizens were given a period of 10 days to submit their suggestions, and this ten day window expired on Tuesday.
Local authorities, including Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), Bangalore Development Authority (BDA), Department of Urban Development and E-Gov Cell, will go through the suggestions provided by the citizens and take them into account in the policy-making process.
