J&K Governor launches portal to monitor infrastructure projects

JAMMU: Satya Pal Malik, Governor of Jammu and Kashmir on February 27, 2019 launched State Infrastructure Monitoring System (SIMS), an official portal for management, monitoring, information and payment system of all infrastructure projects in the state.

The portal is being funded through the Jammu Kashmir Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation (JKIDFC). It has been developed by the finance department in collaboration with the National Informatics Centre. The portal will be beneficial for processing the payments in a streamlined manner for each project.

Navin Choudhary, Principal Secretary, Finance Department briefed Governor about the portal. He told him that it would provide a single platform for all departments to upload information of their pending projects.

The Governor congratulated the finance department for taking significant step towards e-governance. He observed that the portal would help in efficient monitoring and management of all infrastructure projects in the state.
