ITO Skywalk and Rani Jhansi Flyover to be inaugurated next week

NEW DELHI: The ITO Skywalk and the Rani Jhansi flyover are the two most awaited infrastructural projects which will be open for public use by next week. The grade separator on Rani Jhansi Road will be inaugurated on October 16 and the branched ITO skywalk on October 15.

The project took two decades for its completion due to “technical glitches” and poor coordination between the agencies involved, it had missed nine deadlines.

Aadesh Gupta, mayor of the North Delhi Municipal Corporation, inspected the grade separator on Thursday, October 11, 2018.

Hardeep Singh Puri. Union Minister of State (i/c), Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs announced the inauguration dates as October 16 for Rani Jhansi Flyover and October 15 for ITO Skywalk.
