GANDHINAGAR: Chief Minister of Gujarat Bhupendra Patel has instructed the officials of municipal areas in Gujarat to repair roads, which have been badly affected due to the rains.
Commissioners of municipal corporations presented an overview of the situation of roads in their respective regions. CM Patel also advised that all of the route information be posted online so that the public may see how transparently everything is run. In order for the state’s roads to be in good enough shape for Navratri, CM Patel recommended that road repair work be done as soon as the rains stop in the state.
The meeting was attended by Jagdish Vishwakarma, Minister of State for Roads and Buildings, Government of Gujarat; Vinod Moradiya, Minister of State for Urban Development; K Kailashnathan, Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister; Pankaj Kumar, Chief Secretary; Pankaj Joshi, Additional Chief Secretary; Mukesh Kumar, Principal Secretary Urban Development and Sandeep Vasava, Road and Building Department Secretary.
