NEW DELHI: The scheme of doorstep delivery of public services launched by Delhi government on September 10 has received satisfactory response by people. The state government statement claimed that it received 3,312 requests since its launch.
The AAP government said in a statement that maximum requests (1,156) were received by the Department of Transport. The Department of Revenue received 1,127 requests, Food and Civil Supplies Department obtained about 540 requests and the Social Welfare Department got 252 requests. It said that around 1,527 requests were received alone on September 12, 2018.
The statement added that driving licences and caste certificates were most asked for after the launch of service.
