Delhi government to transfer Rs. 5000 to into the accounts of poor

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Government has announced that they will be transferring Rs 5000 each into the accounts of the poor people whose income have been adversely affected due to complete 21-days lockdown. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced that the money would be transferred into the accounts of auto rickshaw, e-rickshaw, RTVs and Gramin Sewa drivers.

The transfer process has been initiated and it would take 7-10 days for implementation said Kejriwal. Talking about Corona Virus he said that 2943 people have been quarantined in the city while 31,307 are self-quarantined. He also mentioned that the government has been providing lunch and dinner to around six lakh people at various centres across the city, a number that his government plan to increase to ten lakh in coming days.
