DC evaluates Udhampur’s urban local government operations

UDHAMPUR, Jammu and Kashmir: Sachin Kumar Vaishya, the Deputy Commissioner of Udhampur, presided over a meeting of concerned officers and field functionaries here in his office chamber to assess how local bodies are operating in the district. Dalip Abrol, Chief Executive Officer, Ghan Sham Singh, Additional District Development Commissioner, and other officers were present. In-depth discussions were held on a number of topics, including the general operation of urban local bodies, sanitation, the collection and disposal of trash, the creation of civic organisations’ own sources of income, the improvement of development infrastructure, etc. The DC gave the concerned officers specific instructions to work harder to ensure the department runs smoothly.
