Cuttack Municipal Corporation lays foundation stone of two projects

CUTTACK, Odisha: The Cuttack Municipal Corporation laid the foundation stone of two projects, including renovation of Saheed Bhawan and a Kalyan mandap near Biju Bhawan.

The foundation stone of the projects was laid down by Mayor Subhas Singh, Nikhil Pawan Kalyan, Commissioner, CMC and Mohammad Moquim, Barabati-Cuttack MLA. Both projects will cost three crores and ₹1.80 crores, respectively. The renovation exercise will be carried out by the National Projects Construction Corporation.

The inauguration of the projects was announced at a council meeting held on Tuesday. In the meeting, it was announced that a ‘bhumi puja’ will be held to lay the foundation stone of 19 projects at a total cost of ₹27.43 crore but the plan changed at the last moment and only two projects were launched.
