CM invites US delegation to invest in Haryana

CHANDIGARH: Manohar Lal Khattar, Chief Minister of Haryana, met a 25-member US delegation on January 19 which was led by Matthew Griswold Bevin, Governor of Kentucky. The meeting was conducted with the aim to attract investment into Haryana. 

During the meeting, Khattar emphsised on the state’s immense potential to develop new industries in areas like civil aviation, IT sector, agro industry, food processing and packaging. Khattar also promised the delegation that infrastructure would be provided to set industries in Haryana. 

Bevin pointed out that India’s economy has huge potential and in the next 15 to 20 years, it would emerge as an economic power. He also mentioned that in his province, new dimensions of development had been made in the areas of aerospace, aviation, auto, petro, rubber, plastic, medicines, roads and shipping. Bevin further suggested better road, rail and air connectivity to boost industrialization.
