BMC to hold special COVID-19 inoculation drive for women

MUMBAI: Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has planned on conducting a special COVID-19 vaccination drive for women. The drive will commence on September 17 and will be carried out in 24 wards of the city.

This drive will take place at all BMC and government-run vaccination centers, from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Women from 24 wards can avail their first and second doses at these vaccination centers, a BMC official said. Moreover, there is no prior online registration required as only women will be vaccinated. BMC is taking favorable steps to make the city immune against COVID-19 and make vaccinations more accessible to citizens at all levels, the official added.
