Assam: North Lakhimpur bags best water body title

LAKHIMPUR: Swapnaneel Paul, mission Director of AMRUT, Assam has declared that Rahdhala Pukhuri of North Lakhimpur town have won  the best water body title  on the occasion of Amrit Sarovar Mahotsav.

The official order also stated that Rangia Municipal Board and Abhayapuri Municipal Board have secured second and third positions. Radhalapukhuri bagged 66.875 marks out of 100, Nabakhuruj Puthibhoral under Rangia Municipal Board secured 66.125 marks and Rajbari Pukhuri of Abhayapuri municipal board secured 64.75 marks. The Selection Panel comprised ministers and high-level officers of the Government of Assam.
