Amit Yadav appointed as chairman of NDMC

NEW DELHI: Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, on Tuesday, October 25, issued an order to appoint Amit Yadav as the chairman of the New Delhi Municipal Corporation. Earlier, he was appointed to the post of Additional Secretary in the Department of Commerce and Industry under the Ministry of Commerce.

Amit Yadav will succeed Bhupinder Singh Bhalla, the earlier chairman of the civic body in Delhi. The outgoing chairman has been appointed as an officer on special duty (OSD) in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India.
